A collaboration with writer and artist Emma McCormick-Goodhart who launched Particle Ethics in March 2020 — an evolving edition of face masks that plays with embroidered language to infuse the now-imperative gesture of dressing one’s voice with a poetics of planetary ritual. The phrases, translated into embroidery from Emma’s scrawl, seek to engage with face masks as a powerful new forum for signage and speech acts, whether sonic or not.
